So I havent bought a pair of felt soles in at least 10 years and since I sold the boat and am not buying another one immediately, found myself in the market for a nice pair boots.  after looking at the cheaper models and talking with some folks, decided to give the new G3 a try.  they are pretty awesome, heavy boots but very comfortable.  I like heavy boots so that was not a problem, and they give tons of support, did I mention comfortable?  wow

anyway, will be field testing more in the next few weeks and will let you know how they do during a full day

wore them yesterday for about 9 hours on the North Branch of the Potomac, if you know this river you know how hard it can be to wade.  Boots were awesome, if you have the cash I highly recommend them, very comfortable and easy wading.  brought a wading staff and didnt need it, although that was probably due to the low flows.  report coming on the main board once I download pics...
